Our Story:
Picture
We purchased Bank Croft in 2010 which was in a desperate need of a major overhaul. We spent the next 2 years creating the home and gardens you see today.
In 2012 we decided to exploit our stunning location and recently refurbished garden to open a Tea room in the garden during the summer months. We ran the Tea Room for 9 successful years but have decided this year ( 2021) to completely concentrate on the B&B so the Tea Room is closed for the foreseeable future, this means that our B&B guests have both the terrace and the complete garden to themselves.
In 2018 we decided that we would open our home to guests ,we started work on upgrading our rooms and getting in place all the processes and procedures we would need to provide modern and comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation. After many months of hard work we opened our doors to our first guest in June 2019.

The team consists of Mark and myself, Karen and of course our two little Scotties Maisie and Eddie. Mark and I love sharing our home, garden and lovely location with visitors from near and far and we hope that our guests not only feel comfortable and at home when they come and stay but depart feeling relaxed and refreshed.  Our village is very friendly with events on at both the village hall and the pub and you will usually be greeted with a friendly hello from locals.  We are lucky to be surrounded by beautiful countryside and stunning scenery and we're always happy to suggest places of interest for you to visit.  We will do our utmost to try to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.  We look forward to seeing you soon.

Maisie  is our 8 year old Scottie girl. She is very friendly and likes to welcome guests, usually with the hope that they may have treats. Snoozing seems to be Maisies favourite pastime along with keeping an eye out for squirrels that visit the garden for the nuts put out for the birds. This is commonly known as Maisies Squirrel Patrol. It's not an understatement to say that Maisie thinks the world revolves around her.

Bonnie is our rescued 11 year old Scottie. Bonnie came to us 5 years ago when she was 6 years old, sadly her owner had died and the family had not been able to give Bonnie the special attention she needs as a Tripod Dog. Bonnie was born with deformed legs and is missing a front limb. She immediately stole our hearts and joined our family.  Bonnie can  be bribed with treats but usually likes to be quiet and undemanding.

2021 update, I cannot bring myself to delete this little write up about our beloved Bonnie but sadly Bonnie passed away in June 2020, she is still with us in our hearts.
